What is Sariro?

Sariro is a live online school. We teach school subjects — maths, science, physics, chemistry, biology and English — grade by grade from Grade 1 to Grade 12, coding and AI for every age, and Public Speaking. Every class is live, with a real teacher, in a batch of at most four learners (or one-to-one), so the teacher notices the moment someone goes quiet. Your first class is free.

About SariroCopy link

Who founded Sariro?

Sariro was founded by Mimo Patra. Sariro itself is young — our first classes ran about a year ago — and it is built around one idea: a class of four, taught live, on a curriculum made for the world your child will actually work in.

About SariroCopy link

What makes Sariro different from other online classes?

Small, live and joined up. Small: at most four learners in a batch, or one-to-one — never a webinar. Live: a real teacher every class, no pre-recorded course to click through. Joined up: each grade follows a full syllabus, lessons move on class by class, and between classes there are practice rooms — maths games, a Solve Lab with an AI guide, a Code Lab that runs real code in the browser, and speaking tools for Public Speaking.

About SariroCopy link

Where is Sariro based?

Sariro is based in India and teaches online, so learners join from anywhere. Classes are live on Google Meet, and your dashboard shows the times of your classes.

About SariroCopy link

Which ages and grades do you teach?

School subjects run from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Coding goes from first steps for young children to advanced courses for adults. Public Speaking has five courses by age: Grades 1–3, Grades 4–6, Grades 7–9, Grades 10–12 and UG, PG & professionals.

About SariroCopy link

What courses does Sariro offer?

School subjects, grade by grade: Mathematics (Grades 1–12), Science (Grades 1–6), Physics (Grades 7–12), Chemistry (Grades 7–12), Biology (Grades 7–12) and English (Grades 1–12). Coding & AI, at four levels (Elementary, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced): Web Builder Pro, App Builder Studio, SaaS Forge, Agent Architect, Data Intelligence Studio, Cloud and DevOps Launchpad, Design to Product, Game Studio AI, AI Automation Agency, AI Security Engineer, Python Basics, Java Basics, Website Development Basics, Scratch with Machine Learning and AP Computer Science. Public Speaking, five courses by age: Grades 1–3, Grades 4–6, Grades 7–9, Grades 10–12 and UG, PG & professionals. And focus courses on one topic: Organic Chemistry, Mechanics, Calculus, Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. Everything is live in a batch of four or one-to-one — see them all on the Courses page.

CoursesCopy link

How do school-subject classes work?

Each subject follows the syllabus for your child's grade — Mathematics (Grades 1–12), Science (Grades 1–6), Physics (Grades 7–12), Chemistry (Grades 7–12), Biology (Grades 7–12) and English (Grades 1–12). One live class a week in a batch of four (or one-to-one), 48 classes across a school year. After each class the lesson moves on, and the practice room has topics, test sheets and quizzes to work on in between.

CoursesCopy link

Do I need coding experience to join a coding course?

No. Coding courses come at four levels — Elementary, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced — and the early levels start from nothing. Not sure where to begin? Book the free trial class: the teacher sees what you can already do and suggests a level. Every coding course also opens the Code Lab, where you practise with real Python, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, Data Science and SQL in the browser.

CoursesCopy link

What is the Public Speaking course?

Public Speaking is five separate courses, one for each age: Grades 1–3, Grades 4–6, Grades 7–9, Grades 10–12 and UG, PG & professionals. Each has its own lessons and homework, taught live in a small batch, and a practice room with speaking drills, pronunciation and voice-modulation tools, and Voice Quest. You can try the free Voice Check on the site first — a 45-second speaking score, no account needed.

CoursesCopy link

Will I get a certificate?

Yes. When you finish a course, the Sariro team issues a certificate with its own certificate number, which you can open and print from your dashboard. The free trial class comes with a certificate too.

CoursesCopy link

How much does Sariro cost?

School subjects (maths, science, English and the rest) are $11.49 a class in a batch of four ($91.92 a month, eight live classes, two a week) or $13.49 a class one-to-one. Longer plans take 10%, 15% or 30% off every class. A whole school year is 96 classes: in a batch of four that is $248.16 every three months, $468.96 every six months, or $771.84 for the year, which is the cheapest way. Coding & AI courses are priced per class like school subjects, for as many classes as the course runs. Pay in 3, pay in 2 (10% off) or pay in full (15% off): in full that is Beginner $289, Intermediate $409, Expert $929 in a batch of four ($339 / $479 / $1,099 one-to-one). In India the prices show in ₹ and you can pay by UPI — a ₹ payment needs an Indian (+91) phone number on the account. Your first class is free either way. Every plan is on the Pricing page.

Pricing & paymentCopy link

Is there a discount?

Yes — for committing to a school year. Paying for a whole year's 48 classes in one go is 30% less than paying month by month, and paying every three months is 10% less. The Pricing page shows the exact amounts. And your first class is free.

Pricing & paymentCopy link

Can I pay in rupees, by UPI?

In India the prices show in ₹ and you can pay by UPI — a ₹ payment needs an Indian (+91) phone number on the account. Payments go through Razorpay: cards everywhere, and UPI for ₹ payments.

Pricing & paymentCopy link

My payment failed. What now?

If the payment page says it failed, no charge was made — it usually means the card was declined, UPI timed out or the window closed, and you can simply try again (a different card or UPI often works). If money did leave your account but the payment failed, Razorpay refunds it automatically within 5–7 business days. For help, email support@sariro.com with your payment ID.

Pricing & paymentCopy link

What is your refund policy?

Every course comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee — the full terms are on the Refunds page. To ask for a refund, email support@sariro.com with the learner's name and the email used to enrol.

Pricing & paymentCopy link

What happens in the free trial class?

A real lesson with a real teacher, about thirty minutes, in a small group like every other class. Nothing to pay and no card needed — you decide afterwards. The teacher sees where the learner is, and you get a certificate for the trial too.

Free trial classCopy link

How do I book a free class?

On the Free Class page: pick the subject, the grade and a time that suits you. We make your account as you book and email you a password, so the class is on your dashboard straight away. If every slot is taken, the form says so and a counsellor calls you to find a time.

Free trial classCopy link

Where do I see my booked trial class?

On your dashboard, as soon as it is booked. If it is the only thing on your account, the whole page becomes the trial: when it starts, a live countdown, and the join button. If you already have classes with us, it sits at the top of your dashboard with the same countdown. We also email you a reminder about an hour before.

Free trial classCopy link

Are the live classes recorded?

Yes. Every live class is recorded, so your child can watch it back to revise before a test or catch up on a class they missed.

Live classesCopy link

How do I join my class?

Open your dashboard: the Join button appears ten minutes before the class starts and takes you into the Google Meet room. Joining through that button is also what marks you present. If it is time and there is no link yet, message Support from your dashboard or email support@sariro.com and we will chase it.

Free trial classCopy link

How many students are in a class?

At most four. You choose a batch of four (1:4) or one-to-one (1:1) — never a crowded online class. Small is the point: the teacher can see everyone and nobody hides.

Live classesCopy link

How long is each class?

Classes are usually an hour; your dashboard shows each class's start and end time. The free trial class is shorter — about thirty minutes.

Live classesCopy link

When are classes held?

Batches run at different times of day and on different days. When you join, we place you in a batch at a time that suits you — and one-to-one classes are set around you. Your dashboard lists every class time.

Live classesCopy link

The class has started but my teacher has not joined. What do I do?

Give it two or three minutes — the teacher may still be opening the room. Your dashboard tells you when a teacher is running late and gives you the room link, so you can join the moment they do. If they still have not arrived, message Support from your dashboard so we can reach them.

Live classesCopy link

Who are the teachers?

Every teacher is trained on a course before they are allowed to teach it — Sariro checks off each course, one by one, so a maths teacher is not suddenly handed chemistry. Your teacher stays with your batch, so they get to know how each learner thinks.

Live classesCopy link

What if I miss a class?

Group classes go ahead for the whole batch, so a single missed class is not repeated — message your teacher in Sariro about anything you missed. If your classes are paused for a while and your batch carries on, your teacher books short catch-up sessions for the lessons you missed. For one-to-one classes, tell us at least two hours before and the class is added back at the end of your course rather than lost.

Live classesCopy link

Can I change my class time or cancel a class?

One-to-one classes can be cancelled up to two hours before they start, and the class is added back at the end of your course. A batch of four runs on the batch's timetable, so one learner cannot move it — but you can ask to move to a batch at a better time. For either, use Support in your dashboard.

Live classesCopy link

Can I talk to my teacher between classes?

Yes — through Messages in your Sariro dashboard. To keep children safe, all messages stay inside Sariro: personal phone numbers, emails and social media are not shared, in either direction.

Live classesCopy link

How can I see my child's progress?

The dashboard shows it: which lesson the class has reached, attendance, and the practice-room numbers over time — quiz and test-sheet scores, streaks, and in Public Speaking things like pace and filler words. The practice rooms also pick one thing to work on next, rather than just listing numbers.

Live classesCopy link

What is the practice room?

Somewhere to practise on the days between classes, in your dashboard. The Maths room has maths games and a Solve Lab: practice by topic or a guided path from Beginner to Advanced, timed test sheets and lesson quizzes, with an AI guide beside every question. The Code Lab has Python, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, Data Science and SQL challenges that run in the browser, with tests, hints and a tutor. Public Speaking has speaking, listening and writing drills, pronunciation and voice-modulation tools, and Voice Quest. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Science and English each have their own Solve Lab too: questions on every topic of your grade, ten timed test sheets for each module, a 10-minute quiz on the lesson your class has just had, and the test series.

Practice roomsCopy link

What does the Maths AI Coach do?

The AI coach is now the AI guide inside the Solve Lab. Beside every question, it sees what you have tried and helps you find the next step the way a good tutor would, without giving the answer away. It comes with a paid plan, and each learner has a daily number of AI questions.

Practice roomsCopy link

What is the Code Lab?

The Code Lab is where coding students practise. Pick a challenge, write real code in a proper editor, and run the tests — it all runs in the browser, nothing to install. There are five packs: Python, JavaScript, HTML & CSS, Data Science (pandas, charts and machine learning) and SQL, from Easy to Expert. Stuck? Take a hint or ask the tutor, who helps you find the answer rather than giving it away.

Practice roomsCopy link

Is my voice recorded in the practice room?

No. Every measurement is made on your own device as you speak, and only the numbers are kept — no recording, no transcript, nothing anybody can play back. That is also why you can try a passage forty times: there is no server to wait for and it costs nothing each go.

Practice roomsCopy link

The practice room is not asking for my microphone. What is wrong?

Almost always the address rather than the browser. A browser only hands over a microphone on a secure page — https:// — and on anything else it never even shows the permission box. Open https://sariro.com and it will ask straight away. If you blocked it once before, the browser keeps refusing silently: tap the padlock in the address bar, set Microphone to Allow, and try again. Speech recognition needs Chrome, Edge or Safari — on other browsers the typing option does the same drill.

Practice roomsCopy link

Can I see whether my speaking is improving?

Yes — the practice room and your dashboard both show it. Not "attended 8 classes", but the actual numbers over time: filler words a minute, speaking pace, how much of a passage you caught. Nothing is claimed under three attempts, because two attempts is not a trend. It also picks one thing to work on next and tells you what to do about it.

Practice roomsCopy link

What is Voice Check?

A free 45-second speaking test on the Sariro site — no account needed. It gives an instant score for pace, filler words, pauses and expression, measured on your own device with nothing uploaded, and one drill to get better straight away.

Practice roomsCopy link

How do I sign up?

The easiest way is to book the free class — your account is made as you book and the password is emailed to you. You can also sign up on the sign-in page with Google, GitHub, or your email. We ask for a phone number once, and check it with a WhatsApp code.

Your accountCopy link

How do I sign in?

Use Sign in at the top of the site: Continue with Google or GitHub, your email and password, or a one-time code sent to your email. If you booked a free class, your password is in the email we sent when you booked.

Your accountCopy link

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in page, click "Forgot password?" and enter your email. The email that arrives has two ways in: a button, and a six-digit code underneath it. Use the button first — and if it says the link did not open a session, type the six digits instead. That happens when you ask on a laptop and open the email on your phone, or when a mail scanner has already used the link, and the code works in both cases. Both last an hour. If you signed up with Google or GitHub you have no password at all — just sign in with the same provider again.

Your accountCopy link

Why do you ask for my phone number?

So we can reach you about classes, and for payments in India. We check the number once with a code on WhatsApp. Teachers and other learners do not see it — messages with your teacher stay inside Sariro.

Your accountCopy link

How do I contact Sariro?

Already learning with us? Use Support in your dashboard, or email support@sariro.com. Anything else — questions before joining, schools, partnerships — email contact@sariro.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 6295 461 132. You can also leave a message on the Contact page.

ContactCopy link

Is anything free?

Your first class is free — a real live lesson, no card needed. Voice Check, a 45-second speaking score, is free for anyone on the site. After that, classes are paid monthly, every three months or by the year (see the Pricing page).

Good to knowCopy link

Is Sariro safe for children?

Safety is built in. Messages between a learner and their teacher stay inside Sariro — personal phone numbers, emails and social media are never exchanged. Classes are small (at most four) and live, so the teacher sees everyone. The speaking tools measure on your own device and keep no recordings. And a phone number, once checked, is not shown to teachers or other learners.

Good to knowCopy link

Are the classes live or recorded?

Live. Every class is taught live by a teacher on Google Meet, in a batch of at most four or one-to-one. We do not sell pre-recorded courses — the point is a teacher who can see how each learner is doing and change course on the spot.

Good to knowCopy link

What do I need to join classes?

A laptop, desktop or tablet with a camera and microphone, and a good internet connection. Classes run on Google Meet in the browser. The practice rooms also run in the browser — for the speaking tools use Chrome, Edge or Safari.
